Construction has recently started for the first stage of the wind farm. The office compound is now nearly operational, and some of the council roads are being upgraded to allow for the arrival of the longest shipments later in 2016. Throughout the end of the year road upgrades and hardstand preparations will continue. The first turbines are expected to arrive on site in Q2 2016.
Stage 1 of the Hornsdale Wind Farm has secured a long-term debt financing package with two European banks, Société Générale and KfW.
